Our church is built on the generosity, heart, and dedication of volunteers who, through the way they serve, bring Christ to our community in practical and meaningful ways.
There are so many ways to get involved, and we’d love to have you on a team! As a church, we’re not about pressure or guilt — we believe serving should come from invitation, not obligation. Our heart is simply to help you find the place where God is calling you to be.
Serving is also one of the best ways to build real, lasting connection. We believe God is calling us to be a deeply connected church — where people don’t just attend, but are planted in community and growing together. Joining a team is a powerful way to be part of that.

Volunteer Opportunities
Horizon Kids Team
Each week, Horizon Kids is full of energy, fun, and faith as our kids grow in their understanding of God’s love. This is only possible because of our passionate team members who serve — whether that’s leading a small group, helping with games or craft, or just being a steady, friendly presence.
Sunday Set Up/Pack Up
Meeting in a rented space means we set up and pack down every week and our faithful volunteers make it happen. From putting out chairs to connecting cables and making the space welcoming, this behind-the-scenes team is essential to creating a great environment for worship and community. It’s a practical and hands-on way to serve!

Sunday Service Team
Our Sunday Service Team helps create a space where people feel seen, welcomed, valued, and ready to encounter God.
There are a few simple but vital roles you can be part of:
– Greeters who welcome people as they arrive
– Coffee Servers who create a warm space for connection after the service
If you’ve got a smile and a heart for people, this is the team for you!
Tech Team
Our Creative and Tech Team brings both creativity and skill to help the church stay focused on God. This team plays a vital role in shaping the Sunday services.
Do you have experience — or keen to learn? We’d love to have you join us in:
– Videography: Filming our services for YouTube so people can stay connected even if they can’t make it in person
– Photography: Capturing moments during special events and services
– Audio: Mixing sound to make worship powerful and clear
No need to be an expert — if you’re teachable and keen, we’ll train you.
Worship Team
At Horizon, our Worship Team exists to lead people into the presence of God — not just through talent, but through genuine, Christ-centred worship. If you’re gifted in singing or playing an instrument, and have a desire to use that gift to honour God and bless others, we’d love to connect with you.
We’re always looking for passionate, committed team members who want to grow in both skill and their heart for worship. If that’s you — we’d love to hear from you!
Youth Team
Horizon Youth is led by a passionate and committed team who love investing in the next generation — creating space for faith to grow, friendships to flourish, and lives to be transformed.
