We can’t wait for our next church getaway — happening over the May long weekend 2026 at the beautiful Murramarang Beach Resort on the South Coast.

It’ll be a relaxed time to connect, build friendships, and enjoy the beach just as Canberra starts to cool down. We’ll share meals, worship together on Saturday night, and have a Sunday morning service with baptisms at the beach.

There’ll be plenty of time to swim, walk, read, or just rest — no service in Canberra that weekend, so come be part of it!

The Murramarang Beach Resort is located on the beautiful South Coast, in South Durras (just north of Batemans Bay). 

The drive is a little over 2 hours from Duffy.

The resort is surrounded by national park and has total beach access. It is incredibly well equipped with a variety of facilities onsite as well a range of accommodation options whether you want to camp, bring your caravan or stay in a cabin.

There is a café onsite, a swimming pool, kids playground, kids water splash area, BBQs, games room and function space.

The resort is popular so be sure to book as soon as you are able.

We have reserved a number of accommodation options with special prices!

There are two steps for booking!

STEP 1: Fill out the form to let us know you are coming (this will make it much easier for us to finalise logistics). The form is here.

STEP 2: Contact Murramarang and tell them you are with the Horizon Church to book your accommodation.

They will send you an invoice (which you can pay online) with a deposit of the first night’s accomodation cost required. 

We have reserved some powered sites as well as some powered ensuite sites These sites are located close to facilities. They are grass sites with some mat, astro turf and concrete sites available. Suitable for caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents.

Powered Sites: $125

We have reserved some great cabin options.

Forest Villa: $495

Nestled amongst the native garden. One queen, one double with single top bunk and one fold-out sofa bed. Features air-conditioning; heating; kitchen; dining area; two bathrooms, one with bath; TV, Foxtel and DVD; veranda with outdoor furniture and dining. Special access cabins available.

Garden Villa: $594
Located overlooking the garden. One queen, two singles (can be joined together to make a double bed if requested upon booking) and one fold-out sofa. Features air-conditioning; heating; kitchen with stovetop, microwave and fridge; dining area; TV, Foxtel and DVD; two bathrooms, one with bath; veranda with outdoor furniture and dining.


Beach Villa: $657
Located overlooking the ocean. One queen and one single bunk and one fold-out sofa. Features air-conditioning; heating; kitchen with stovetop, microwave and fridge; dining area; TV, Foxtel and DVD; bathroom; veranda with outdoor furniture.
